NetPortal 1.0 Released

NetPortal provides an easy, intuitive way of accessing all your important documents on your company file servers, or your home computer from wherever you are. NetPortal accesses your file shares directly, over WiFi, 3G or GPRS. The powerful bookmarking, automated logon and folder navigation features in NetPortal mean that you are never more than two taps away from any page of any document wherever it is stored. Remotely accessing your important documents has never been easier than with an iPhone and NetPortal. You can also copy and store files on your iPhone for later viewing - for example, if you're in a plane, or abroad where data roaming is too expensive. You can also email any document as an attachment, using your iPhone's default email connection (no additional configuration required). NetPortal has been developed to take full advantage of the iPhone platform with ease-of-use and performance being the main design goals. NetPortal is an essential addition for all business users on the move and valuable for home users too.

If you do NOT have a valid VPN configuration on your iPhone, you will ONLY be able to connect to files on your local LAN via WiFi.
