You can also copy and store files on your iPhone for later viewing - for example, if you're in a plane, or abroad where data roaming is too expensive. You can also email any document as an attachment, using your iPhone's default email connection (no additional configuration required). NOTES

• To connect to your file shares, you must either be directly connected to the LAN via WiFi or by an existing configured VPN connection on your iPhone (WiFi, 3G, EDGE or GPRS). If you do NOT have a valid VPN configuration on your iPhone, you will ONLY be able to connect to files on your local LAN via WiFi.
• To connect to a home computer over broadband, your ADSL router must be configured to forward VPN and SMB traffic to your computer. NetPortal does NOT enable access through firewalls or routers without the appropriate configuration.
