MusicStreamer Accessibility
We endeavour to support the accessibility tools and standards that are built into iOS. The supported accessibility features shown on the App Store in the accessibility card are:
VoiceOver
This feature works automatically to speak the controls and information shown in the app, responding to swipes, double taps and other gestures. The general layout of the app is a home page containing a top section of playback and other controls, and a bottom section which is a list or grid of albums and tracks. Select ‘Switch to List View’ for best results with VoiceOver. There is also an index control on the right side of the screen (use the heading switcher to reach it) and this causes the main list to scroll to an album when you change the letter.
In VoiceOver mode, use the preferences screen (triggered by the main menu button) to enable VoiceOver Track Position. In this mode the dual speed slider for playback position is changed to one that supports VoiceOver.
Dark Interface
To switch the interface between light and dark, tap the cog icon and select "Preferences" scroll to the bottom of the dialog and select light or dark mode.
Differentiate Without Colour Alone
Commands are always identified with a name or icon or with both.
Sufficient Contrast
The light and dark themes have the most contrast between foreground and background elements. Other colour themes are available in MusicStreamer and though these may have lower contrast, you may find one easier to work with.
Voice Control
Basic support for this feature is included, but we hope to extend this in a future update.
Larger Text
Tap the cog icon and select "Preferences" the enable "Bigger Text". At this time the app does not support the general iOS Larger Text setting.
